Pontiac Custom Installations
In 1907 Edward M. Murphy and Alanson Brush established the Oakland Motor Company in Pontiac Michigan. This was the start of the Pontiac. Not much later they became affiliated with GM. In 1926 the Pontiac Car was introduced and became a great hit as it was advertised as having a 6 cylinder motor for the price of a 4. Pontiac is famous for its ‘wide track’ design, the GTO, the Trans Am, and so many more great cars. It was a real shame that it was discontinued. Read more about the history of Oakland-Pontiac Here.
