GMC Custom Installations
GMC took on its first appearance as a truck brand in 1909 a year after GM came into existence. That was the year that William Durant (GM founder) purchased the Rapid Motor Vehicle Company from which General Motors Truck company was created. That name soon evolved into the GMC Truck brand. GMC was a unique brand for General Motors, as it was used to help dealerships like Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Pontiac compete with Chevrolet (another GM brand) that had its own truck line. Visit this GM history site that has loads of pictures and great stories. Here is some example GMC custom installations we have done so you can see for yourself.
