Build Your Own Individual BMW 6 Series
Most people don’t know that you can build your own individual BMW 6 series automobile. This is a special program they offer that is likely not for the faint of heart or slim of pocket book. This program allows you to create a special ‘individual’ BMW car design based on a multitude of design choices made by you during the order process. You can find the BMW Individual web page here. They even have custom apps available for Apple IOS and Google Android devices, so you can play building an ‘individual’ BMW anywhere. Jamie was not the creator of this particular ‘individual’ BMW 6 series design. There are both good and better points because of this. Most importantly, as not having made the original purchase, he benefited from the driven off the car lot discount. On the other side, Jamie didn’t get to make all the design selections that created this ‘individual’ BMW 6.
Going with that thought, truthfully he would have picked most of them, he told me himself, this is one really great UNIQUE car. Jamie being who he is, likes getting more toys for the toys, and couldn’t stop himself from making the best even better. One excellent philosophy they try to follow is to make added features look like they could have been original equipment. New stuff needs to retain the THEME already present in the car. This is always true, unless the customer just wants Boomer Nashua to do a total custom make-over for their vehicle (not the case here). Everything added to this BMW ‘individual’ 6 series car was done to extend the design theme already present, keep that in mind as you browse this picture gallery. Here are some of those additions:
- There are now 19 speakers installed, and you can only see one, the sub-woofer.
- There are now side pocket speakers, Boomer Nashua purchased replacement side pocket components to modify, leaving the originals untouched for future returning the car to stock.
- All newly installed speaker grill coverings match existing speaker grills perfectly.
- The grill network for the sub vent works so well you can feel the air moving through it driven by the Sub in the trunk.
- To get better braking, this individual 6 series now has powder coated calipers and cross drilled rotors.
Here is a mix of photos showing different features, I specially like the extra touches done with the sub-woofer install that included a BMW logo and some fancy ornamentation as well. Enjoy the tour, remember you may believe you have the best, but Boomer Nashua can always make it even better.
